School Health & Wellbeing Project

The aim of the Slough School Health and Wellbeing Project is to support schools to adopt a whole school approach to health and wellbeing encompassing all areas of health and wellbeing and all areas of school life.

A wide range of support is on offer to schools which includes:  

  • Framework (linked to Ofsted requirements) with accompanying CPD and on-going support for mapping and developing a whole school approach to Health & Wellbeing.
  • Staff training and CPD including bespoke to meet the training needs of individual schools, guidance for running parent engagement meetings and workshops.
  • Guidance with PSHE/R(S)HE/health & wellbeing policy and curriculum development including review and feedback.
  • Guidance for identifying and selecting resources, projects and sources of support
  • School Health & Wellbeing Project webpage and an online directory of resources
  • Primary and secondary PSHE networks
  • Regular School Health & Wellbeing Project update bulletins with relevant local and national issues, resources etc.
