Early Years Behaviour Management Training - SEBDOS

 

This training has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years Project Support Officer, Aneesa Younus, for the attention of Early Years Managers, Deputies and Practitioners, teaching assistants in nursery and reception classes.

Please note bookings are limited to a maximum of 3 per setting.

When registering for this training you will be providing commitment to the following days:

• Tuesday 22nd September | 10:00 - 11:30 | Part 1

• Tuesday 29th September | 10:00 - 11:30 | Part 2

It is a requirement to attend both days of the course.

This course will cover the following aspects:

• Understanding behaviour as a form of communication

• Asking questions about children’s behaviour and understanding what it means

• Addressing persistent and challenging behaviour patterns

• Positive behaviour strategies

• Sharing consistent high expectations of behaviour with staff, children and parents/carers

• Adults as models of behaviour

• Consistently challenging and complex behaviour

• How to develop problem solving around specific behaviours (biting?)

• Develop knowledge of how to adapt the environment

This training session will be held online & details of how to join will be sent to you once you have registered.
