The Children, Learning and Skills Directorate

The Children, Learning and Skills Directorate (CLS) was created within Slough Borough Council in 2016 following the termination of contract with Cambridge education for the delivery of education services. The directorate has responsibility for all the council’s education functions such as school effectiveness, early years education, SEND and admissions. The CLS Directorate also oversees the contract with Slough Children’s Services Trust to deliver children’s social care functions.
