When registering for this training you will be providing commitment to the following days:
• Tuesday 24th December | 18:30- 20:00 | Part 1
• Tuesday 1st December | 18:30- 20:00 | Part 2
It is a requirement to attend both days of the course.
This course will cover the following aspects:
• Understanding behaviour as a form of communication
• Asking questions about children’s behaviour and understanding what it means
• Addressing persistent and challenging behaviour patterns
• Positive behaviour strategies
• Sharing consistent high expectations of behaviour with staff, children and parents/carers
• Adults as models of behaviour
• Consistently challenging and complex behaviour
• How to develop problem solving around specific behaviours (biting?)
• Develop knowledge of how to adapt the environment
