This training has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years Team and delivered by Slough Children First Early Help Team for the attention of Early Years DSLs, Managers and Deputies.
The Early Help Delegation Portal Training Session is designed to familiarize participants with the portal’s features and empower them to manage the Families First Form effectively. The training session is audio visual and for 30 minutes.
This session covers:
1. Introduction and an overview of Early Help Delegation Portal – Brief overview of how the portal has been shaped and developed.
2. Overview of Early Help Partnership Survey - To understand how many children have been supported at a Partnership Early Help Level by nursery, primary, secondary school, college, specialist schools and by partner agencies
3. The reason for introducing Delegation Portal - To capture and identify number of children, who have been supported through Early Help Community, once Targeted Early Help Intervention is completed and to understand the needs of those children.
4. Benefits of using Delegation Portal - To better understand the wealth of early help activity undertaken by partners/ services/ community and preventing escalating risks.
5. How Delegation Portal pathway works
6. Portal overview and key functions which includes demonstration of portal’s layout, navigation menu, key features. Explanation of log in/registration process to the portal, completing Families First Form (including outcome, evidence and supporting documents), review cases, delegate tasks.
7. Q&A and wrap up – open the floor for questions, the key takeaway from the training.
The session combines presentations, training videos and Q&A, leaving participants confident using the portal to provide timely and effective support.
