This training has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Assistant Business Support Officer, Shamila Khan, for the attention of NQTs and teachers new to the EYFS who will be completing the EYFS Profile for the first time. Year one colleagues and Headteachers may find this session useful to attend alongside their EYFS teachers.
This session will provide an overview of the revised EYFS Profile Handbook and requirements for completion of the Profile and submission of schools data to the LA.
You will consider your role in making a judgement against the revised ELGs, the responsibilities of the school and headteacher for accurate and timely completion of the EYFSP cohort data and how this statutory assessment process supports its primary focus of effective transition into year one.
Reference will be made to the profile handbook, the exemplification materials and time given to professional conversations with other practitioners on the training. You will find it useful to have reviewed the EYFS Profile handbook before this session.
