This training will be delivered in 3 sessions;
Session 1: Attachment & brain development
Session 2: Five to thrive blocks & informing practice
Session 3: Recovery from trauma
These sessions will:
• Introduce five to thrive framework
• Support practice development through understanding the positive impact of ‘Five to Thrive’ interactions when working with children and families; underpinning positive attachment, supporting healthy brain function and promoting self-regulation & resilience
Participants will have online access to additional materials and resources after the second session. We would recommend these to be used in your setting through workshops with colleagues and parents.
When registering for this training you will be providing commitment to the following days:
Session 1:Tuesday 7th November 2023 - 3.30pm - 5.00pm
Session 2: Tuesday 21st November 2023 - 3.30pm - 5.00pm
Session 3:Tuesday 28th November 2023 - 3.30pm - 5.00pm
You MUST attend all 3 bite-sized sessions.
This training will take place online via Teams, details of how to join will be sent to you once you have registered. .
Any cancellations must be made 7 days prior to the event.
A £15 fee will be payable for non attendance.
