This training has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Assistant Business Support Officer Shamila Khan, for the attention of Early Language Lead Practitioner (ELLPs) and other colleagues in settings who work with children with SLCN
This meeting is designed to support Early Language Lead Practitioners (ELLPs) with the development best practice in SLCN within their own setting.
With an increased number of children identified with SLC delays this session will focus on how to support children with effective interactions, back and forth conversations and vocabulary development. These are all areas that are recognised as having significant importance and impact within the EYFS Statutory Framework, and underpin much of the national support materials and training from DfE, Ofsted, and other key partners. In this session we will share national resources and information that you can use with your children and families.
We are hoping that one of our Speech and language therapists will be able to join us to give us local updates and share more strategies and top tips to go alongside their SLC toolkit
