The Early Years Cluster Meetings have are brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years team, for the attention of Lead practitioners working in nursery schools, nursery classes, day nurseries and preschools.
2026 is the National Year of Reading and we will be taking a focus on stories and using books to develop young children’s language and communication.
We are fortunate to invite you to Phoenix Infants where Georgina Tait, EYFS Lead, will share her approach of ‘Story Land’ and you will have an opportunity to explore the learning environment.
Georgina regularly works with Jan Dubeil to provide training, so this is a real opportunity to visit and hear from Georgina.
We will also be joined by Baylis Court Nursery’s Sendco Raluca Preda who will be sharing their use of sensory stories.
