Introduction to ELLP Programme and ITalk

This training is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years Team for the attention of all EYFS provision, private nurseries, schools and childminders

Welcome to the ELLP programme and Italk

Do you have challenges meeting all the children’s speech language and communication needs in your setting?
Preverbal children, reluctant speakers, multilingual learners?
Based on the national Every Child a Talker ECAT programme devised by speech and language therapists and early years experts, in Slough we continue to support the EYFS sector through the Early Language Lead Practitioner ELLP programme.

Including a range of strategies and using Techniques of the Week TOW, this works with your embedded communication environment to support all children’s developing language and communication skills, with support from the Early Years advisory teachers, and termly networks to share good practice and input from CYPIT

Using ITalk monitoring to track your children and identify areas to support, the Slough Early Years team uses this data to work with the local speech therapy team to target support and training

This session is for all EYFS provision, private nurseries, schools and childminders
