Introduction to Home-based Care | Becoming a Childminder Training

This training is open to those who have attended an Information Session on becoming a childminder.

This training has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Senior Childcare Development Officer, Aneesa Younus, for the attention of anyone in Slough who wants to become a Childminder and has attended an Information session.

A career in home-based care and becoming a Childminder can be very rewarding, whatever your background or age. There will always be demand for good quality home-based care to support early education of young children.

A career in early years could be for you if you love being around children and are committed to give them the best possible start in life, and you want to be your own boss.

This training is free and will take place over 7 sessions:

Session 1 - Wednesday 25th September

Session 2- Wednesday 2nd October

Session 3- Wednesday 9th October

Session 4- Wednesday 16th October

Session 5- Wednesday 23rd October

Half term week break

Session 6 - Wednesday 6th November

Session 7 - Wednesday 13th November

You must attend all 7 sessions to complete this trianing course.

Non attednance will be charged at £50.00.
