This event has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Education Safeguarding Officer, Jatinder Matharu, for the attention of Designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads in Early Years and Primary education settings.
This event is aimed to support professionals in education produce succinct, concise, factual quality referrals by exploring:
- The presentation of the child and the parents perception of risk
- How to separate fact from opinion and emotion
- The use of tools to assist in capturing and recording concerns by collating evidence, hypothesis and providing an analysis of harm
The sessions will be a practical session to help DSL’s to construct a good quality MARF by demonstrating how they met the threshold.
