New Parent Carer Forum for Slough - Information Session

This information has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council for the attention of families of children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

We’re excited to invite parents, carers, and members of the wider Slough community to help shape a new Parent Carer Forum for families of children and young people aged 0 to 25 with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Are you:

  • A parent or carer of a child or young person with SEND living in Slough?
  • Interested in having your voice heard in the design, development and improvement of services that affect your family?
  • Curious about how parent carer forums influence decisions locally, regionally, and nationally?

If so, please come along to one of our free virtual information sessions, hosted by Contact (the charity supporting families with disabled children):

  1. 7th July – 6:00pm to 7:30pm
  2. 8th July – 10:00am to 11:30am
  3. 9th July – 12:00 noon to 1:30pm

These friendly and informal sessions are a chance to find out more, ask questions and explore how you can get involved. To book your place, please email: Catherine.ratcliffe@contact.org.uk

Please feel free to share this invitation with any families, groups, or networks who may be interested. We want to ensure this opportunity reaches as many people as possible across our community. Thank you for your support — together, we can build something meaningful for families in Slough.
