This workshop has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Project Support Officer, Aneesa Younus, for the attention of Early years teaching assistants and Practitioners.
Around 1 in 100 children and young people are affected by Autism. Spotting the signs early and helping young children to develop strategies to cope can make a real difference to their future.
These interactive workshops will help you to understand what ASD is, to identify behavioural triggers for early years children who have a diagnosis of ASD or are awaiting assessment and to have the opportunity to share successful strategies as well as learning new ones. This is a two part course and participants must attend BOTH sessions.
