“Dragons come when you least expect it. You turn round…and they’re there.”

Do your pupils’ worries ever reach dragon-like proportions? If they do, then we have just the show for you and your school!

Saturday 26 October, 2pm @ The Curve | Theatre show for pupils aged from 3-10 years

A poignant, insightful and funny story about coping with your dragons and learning to face anxieties from award-winning picture book writer Kathryn Cave.A firm favourite with readers for over fifteen years, Taking Flight bring the story to The Curve on Saturday 26 October following two critically acclaimed tours of Wales and England.

Lots of people get them; bad dreams, swirly tummy, feeling prickly. And sometimes they make you feel alone. So, what can a young child with a bad case of the dragons do?

A delightful tale of one child’s journey to come to terms with their dragons told in Taking Flight’s unique style. With live, original music and songs; this highly visual, sensitive production is a funny and touching show about the dragons we all face.

You’ve Got Dragons is a show for all your pupils, where nobody is left out!

  • The performance features creative captioning, interwoven British Sign Language and age appropriate audio description so that everyone can enjoy the performance.
  • All performances of this show are relaxed. This means it doesn’t get completely dark and the performers really won’t mind if anybody in the audience makes a noise (it’s actively encouraged at some points in the show!) and it’s fine if pupils need to go out and come back in again.
  • The show is 50 mins long.
  • Age guidance: 3-10 years and families
  • Ticket prices are £6 Adult, £5 Child, Family of 3+ £5pp
