This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Education Safeguarding Professional, Jatinder Matharu, for the attention of staff working with schools settings, libraries, early years and children’s centres.
As you may be aware the national school age campaign is back this year.
For your information of this group I am forwarding a copy of the bulletin below that has gone out to schools registered with the Partnerships team to encourage activity. These resources are also available to schools on the open access School Zone pages. As per previous iterations of this campaign a set of classroom resources are being distributed through the fruit and vegetable scheme and with additional copies are available to order online. Materials are suitable for EYFS and KS1 & 2 and support delivery of Relationships Education and Health Education statutory guidance.
The campaign launches on July 25th and local authority and NHS colleagues are invited to pre-order Shake Up packs for distribution over the summer break in a range of settings with children and young families, such as children’s centres, libraries, leisure centres, breakfast and after school clubs, GPs pharmacies and other similar locations. Registration with the Campaign Resource Centre is necessary to access these.
Local authorities and NHS colleagues have until 5pm on Wednesday 29th June 2022 to pre-order resources. view online
