This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Education Safeguarding Officer, Jatinder Matharu, for the attention of all Designated Safeguarding Leads, Safeguarding Governors and all Headteachers in Slough schools.
The online Section 175/157 Safeguarding Audit 2018 was launched on 6th December 2018. It is a comprehensive audit which captures qualitative and quantitative data intelligence and serves a multi-function for schools safeguarding reporting.
The audit will identify themes and key areas for developments for schools across Slough and link across to the pan Berkshire Sec 11 audit themes which are based on the Working Together (2018) Guidance. Designated Safeguarding Leads and Headteachers have been sent a link to register and complete the audit.
The submission date is midnight on Thursday 31st January 2019 after which the audit will be locked down in order to allow sufficient time to review responses.
