Arbour Vale School Consultation

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of Orchard Hill College & Academy Trust's Executive Director of Development, Lynn Barratt, for the attention of all Slough Schools.

Arbour Vale School is a large special school in Slough and part of Orchard Hill College Academy Trust, a specialist multi academy trust.

Over the last few years, Arbour Vale School has met the demand for additional children across existing year groups and as a result of this incremental increase, the school now offers places to an additional 31 pupils above its current Funding Agreement of 304 places. The school’s current Funding Agreement also includes a residential provision which is no longer offered.

This consultation, therefore, is on the proposal to amend the Funding Agreement that Arbour Vale School holds with the Department for Education (DfE) in order to make permanent the incremental increase to 335 pupil places and to formally remove the residential provision.

The consultation will run from Wednesday 21 September 2022 to Wednesday 19 October 2022.
