Ben Kinsella Trust Choices and Consequences Exhibition and nominations

As they continue to raise awareness about knife crime, we’d like to highlight more of the good work that Rhiannon Dineen, our YJS Youth Justice Case Practitioner and founder of Communities Against Violence (CAV) have recently done.

On Wednesday, CAV were invited along to the Ben Kinsella Trust Choices and Consequences Exhibition, in preparation of Knife Crime Awareness Week (19-25 May).

You may remember that last Spring, a campaign called ‘Stay True to You’ was rolled out by partners across the Thames Valley, including the Thames Valley Police, to inform and support parents, young people and practitioners about knife crime. These sessions were free and were delivered by the anti-knife crime charity, The Ben Kinsella Trust.

As well as this, Rhiannon has been nominated for a Rising Star Award by the MBCC Awards.

The MBCC Awards (Multicultural Business & Community Champion Awards) was set up in 2016 as a non-profit organisation with the sole purpose of nationally recognising people who go out of their way to help others, as well as the work that they do.

Nominations will open in June and the 2025 MBCC Awards will take place in November. Please join us in congratulating Rhiannon and wishing her well in this category!
