A new version of the non-statutory EYFS guidance document, Birth to 5 Matters, has now been launched by the Early Years Coalition (EYC) – a group of sector organisations
The updated and expanded second edition reflects “new messages arising from research, fresh ideas from practice and changes in society” such as new guidance on working with babies, managing the changes in digital technology and supporting children to become advocates for a sustainable future.
To coincide with the launch, the Birth to 5 Matters website has been revised to increase accessibility and include an updated bank of free-to-access resources.
