24/7 BSL service for non-emergency matters launched by TVP
Thames Valley Police (TVP) have launched a 24/7 British Sign Language (BSL) service for reporting non-emergency matters. Please see below for further details.
- TVP has a partnership with SignVideo, a British Sign Language (BSL) online interpreting service. This free service allows deaf and hearing-impaired residents to contact them using their mobile phone, tablet, or computer for non-emergency matters.
 - Use the SignVideo Video Relay Service app or web portal for BSL Users and Interpreters | For more information, please visit www.signvideo.co.uk. You can then contact SignVideo for free through the Sign Directory by tapping on Thames Valley.
 - This service is simple, secure, and designed to ensure that everyone can reach us in the way that suits them best. Officers will communicate through the interpreter, with no change to how the call is managed.
