Council for the Disabled and Dingley’s Promise
Managing change can be challenging for disabled children and children with special educational needs, and their families, especially in the early years when moving from a home environment to a nursery or school setting.
Dingleys Promise created a set of tools to support children, families and settings through an 'Entry Exit Pathway'. These include:
- A pathway monitoring tool
- Child progress reference chart
- Family self-assessment survey
- Guidance and information sheets on the benefits of inclusion
- Transition measurement tools.
