Defining a clear priority for your Early Years Pupil Premium funding

When a nursery manager said “I don’t think the Early Years Pupil Premium is making a difference”, it marked the start of a significant shift in thinking. 

The realisation that spending their Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP) funding ad-hoc on additional resources wasn’t delivering meaningful progress for children, prompted the leadership team to re-evaluate their approach.
