This information is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years team, on behalf of The Department for Education, for the attention of all Early Years settings.
As part of our continued work to strengthen SEND and inclusive practice across Slough, we are delighted to share a new fully funded Early Years SEND CPD programme from Dingley’s Promise, in partnership with Families First and funded by the Department for Education.
The programme includes three online courses covering Foundations of Inclusive Practice, Embedding Inclusive Practice and Parent Partnerships, providing practical tools that practitioners can use within their everyday practice.
If you completed the previous Comic Relief-funded Dingley’s Promise training, you are not expected to complete this training again. This new programme has been built on the previous training, and we do not want practitioners to duplicate learning unnecessarily.
For those who have not previously undertaken the training, we would really encourage you to take advantage of this fully funded opportunity.
This is particularly relevant to our work in Slough. Building knowledge, confidence and consistency around SEND and inclusion across our early years workforce supports the priorities within Slough's SEND improvement work, particularly our focus on earlier identification and support, inclusive practice and better experiences for children and families.
It will also help us collectively prepare for the direction of national SEND reform, ensuring our workforce has the skills and confidence to support children wherever possible within their local, inclusive early years provision and to work effectively in partnership with families.
The training is fully funded, flexible and available to early years educators across all types of provision, including childminders.
You can register directly with Dingley’s Promise. There is no requirement to register through Slough Borough Council.

Please share this opportunity with relevant colleagues within your setting.
Thank you for continuing to work with us to strengthen inclusive practice and improve outcomes for Slough's children and families.
