This information is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years team, on behalf of The Department for Education, for the attention of all Early Years settings.
You are invited to join Families First CIC and Dingley's Promise for a Providers Meeting - an introduction to the new Department for Education-funded Early Years SEND CPD Programme.
The meeting will tell you about free online training that has been developed to help early years educators strengthen their inclusive practice and improve outcomes for children with SEND. Open to practitioners, SENCOs, childminders, room leaders and managers working with children aged 0 to 4, the training programme offers over 20 hours of flexible, self-paced learning.
During the Providers Meeting, you'll:
- Learn what the training covers and who it is for
- Find out how to access and get started with the programme
- Hear about additional support available from Families First and Dingley's Promise
- Explore how the training can help you embed inclusive practice across your setting
- Ask questions and connect with other providers interested in improving inclusion for young children with SEND
Whether you're just beginning your inclusion journey or looking to build on existing good practice, this meeting will help you make the most of this exciting new national training opportunity.
