An in-person documentary screening will be taking place on Tuesday 9 June at The Curve, Slough.
The screening, A Letter from Temur, tells the story of Temur Qureshi, a 19‑year‑old from Slough who tragically died in September 2023 as a result of knife crime.
It follows Temur’s mother, Tatiana, who, after losing her son, channels her grief into activism. Supported by her community, she works to create change in Slough, honouring Temur’s legacy while highlighting the systemic failures that affected her family.
Following the screening, there will be a Q&A discussion with a panel of Slough residents who have lived experience of knife crime. This event provides an opportunity to come together as a community, raise awareness, and support efforts to address knife crime in Slough.
Doors open 6pm, screening starts 6:30pm
