The Family Rights Group has published an article on kinship care outlining measures that they would like the Government to adopt to help improve support for kinship carers in England. Among other measures, the charity is calling for the Children’s Wellbeing Bill to include a statutory definition of kinship care and introduce a legal right for families to be offered a family group conference before social workers consider going to court to remove their children.
