FREE BookStart Packs - Early Years Providers

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Year's Business Support Officer, Mariam Younus for the attention of all early years providers.

Slough Libraries work in partnership with children’s reading charity BookTrust to distribute free book packs for children aged 1 – 4 from low-income families.

These packs can be delivered directly to your setting. If you would like some packs, please complete the online form on this link: https://forms.office.com/e/0gLzWfBFQU by 2pm on 9th June.

For them to be delivered directly, you will need to give permission for your contact details to be shared with BookTrust.

The packs will be delivered from September onwards. If you need them sooner, please contact Alison Beer from Slough Libraries alison.beer@slough.gov.uk

This is a targeted programme, so please only order for children from low-income families.

If you would like dual language books for your packs or accessible packs for children with additional needs, these can also be requested by emailing Alison. These cannot be delivered directly, so they will need to be collected from a Slough library.

If you cannot complete the form before the deadline, you can still access packs, but will need to collect them from Langley, Cippenham or The Curve library.

Please get in touch with Alison if you have any questions about the Bookstart packs.
