Take part in a FREE cross-curricular project for KS2
Would you like your pupils to develop better problem-solving skills, empathy and understanding of the positive role they can play in their community?
The Make a Difference Challenge is a child-led social action project for KS2 that supports pupils in identifying, researching and addressing a social or environmental issue that they feel passionate about. The project has been shown to have a positive impact on pupils level of community investment and help children develop a more optimistic outlook.
This cross-curricular project also provides a meaningful context for literacy and numeracy work as well as supporting pupil voice, SMSC learning and children’s understanding of British values.
The Make a Difference Challenge runs over the course of the whole academic year and kicks off with a whole-day teacher training session on Tuesday 25th September at Newbury College.
