FREE - Talk for Tales with Children

The National Literacy Trust have partnered with Sheffield Hallum University to deliver their Talk With Tales for Children (TWiTCH) programme. They are inviting early education providers to join in this exciting new early literacy programme that supports children's expressive language, sustained shared thinking and narrative skills through stories and play.

This year long fully funded programme trains early years practitioners to use dialogic reading strategies alongside the daily shared reading of traditional tales, interactions and continuous provision. Each setting will be supported by a National Literacy Trust TWiTCH coach who will deliver training and support throughout the programme . All books and materials will be provided free of charge.

The programme is aimed at any early years provider who take 3-4 year olds, ideally able to have at least 10 children involved.
