Hate Crime Awareness | Wear Red 22.10.2025

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of Slough Children First for the attention of all schools.

It’s Hate Crime Awareness Week from 11-18 October.

In support of this, the Safer Slough Partnership are asking partners who will be in Observatory House on Wednesday 22nd October, to show support by wearing red.

Show Racism the Red Card.

Wearing red isn’t just a colour choice - It says enough is enough. We stand united against racism and will not tolerate discrimination in any form.

Standing against hate means standing against all forms of prejudice, including Islamophobia, homophobia, antisemitism, transphobia, ableism, and xenophobia. Everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and welcome, no matter their identity.

Let’s make it visible. Let’s make it loud. Let’s make it red.
