Have Your Say: Shape the Future of Early Years Funding for 2027/28
We are seeking feedback from Slough early years and childcare providers on proposals for Early Years funding arrangements for the 2027/28 financial year.
This is an important opportunity for providers to share their views on how Early Years funding is distributed and to help inform future funding decisions. We encourage all providers to take part and ensure that the experiences and perspectives of the sector in Slough are represented.
Every response matters. Please do not assume that others will complete the consultation on behalf of the sector. A wide range of views will help provide a more complete picture of the challenges and opportunities facing providers.
Before completing the survey, please take time to read the accompanying consultation document, which sets out the funding proposals in detail.
The consultation should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.
Consultation closes on 14 September 2026.

We strongly encourage all Slough early years providers, including nurseries, preschools, childminders and school-based provision, to participate.
