This article is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Information and Advice Officer, Rajdeep Chohan on behalf of James Craggs, Strategic Lead for Starting Life Well for the attention of Professionals and anyone who works with children and young people, so they can support families with being more active.
Our neighbouring Active Partnerships (LEAP Bucks & Milton Keynes) and Active Oxfordshire are going to be delivering one of our regular FREE online workshops (below) for Children & Young People professionals to help them to support families to be more active.
The short 1 hour session at lunchtime on 18th October (12 – 1pm) will
- Help professionals to learn the benefits of being physically active
- Give national guidelines and tips
- Point out key signposting resources
- Learn how to have positive conversations about being more active
To emphasis it’s for Children & Young People professionals who work closely with families and will be a repeat of the workshop that we have previously delivered and was positively received.
Places are limited. Booking link on the flyer.
