Learning to Work is a not-for-profit charity committed to supporting young people as they prepare for life beyond school. Our mission is to bridge the gap between education and the workplace by giving students meaningful opportunities to explore career pathways and develop the skills they need for the future. We are passionate about inspiring the next generation, and we do this by connecting students with businesses and professionals who can share their knowledge, career journeys, and real-world experiences. Through these interactions, students gain valuable insights into the working world, helping them to make informed decisions about their futures while also building the confidence to pursue their goals.
We currently support over 29,0000 young people a year in schools located in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and West London, we deliver tailored programs addressing educational inequality, economic challenges and workforce readiness, and none of this would be possible without the support of our amazing Business Volunteers.
We are actively recruiting for Lynch Hill Academy Careers Event happening on Wednesday 25th February 2026, which have a significant impact across the whole school—engaging students from Year 7 through to Sixth Form. These events provide an excellent opportunity to interact directly with students while also showcasing your business through flyers, brochures, and promotional materials.
