This article is brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Public Health Team, for the attention of all Headteachers, Healthy Schools Leads, PSHE Leads, School Survey Leads and Health and Wellbeing Leads.
We are inviting schools to attend an online drop-in session to learn more about the My Health, My School survey.
Why does this survey matter?
- The purpose of this anonymous, pupil perception survey is to support early intervention at a whole-school level.
- The survey will help your school by highlighting patterns and emerging themes across groups of pupils.
- It will help your school identify areas that may need strengthening (e.g. support, curriculum, environment).
At the session, you will:
- Learn how to register and what as a school you are consenting to.
- Gain an overview of the key themes covered in the survey for each year group
- Understand the importance of completing the survey for Pupil Voice and Ofsted
- Receive practical tips on gathering parental consent
- Learn how to administer the survey effectively and what resources are available for all schools to use
- Explore ways to integrate the survey into existing PSHE lessons
- How to use the analysis functionality and promote and share the results after the survey
This is a great opportunity to ask questions and feel confident about delivering the survey in your school.
