Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) Case Study
We are pleased that the Nuffield Early Language Intervention (NELI) programme continues to be available free of charge to all state‑funded schools, supporting reception‑aged children who need additional help with their speech and language development. Funding for the programme is confirmed until AY28/29, subject to future spending rounds.
NELI is designed to be straightforward to implement, with clear training, structured resources, and a strong evidence base.
