Free webinar series focused on preventing serious violence for education leaders

The Department for Education and Youth Endowment Fund are hosting a free webinar series focused on preventing serious violence and they have asked us to flag this with VRUs so that you can share wider to your local education leaders and partnerships. The webinar will share practical, evidence-based approaches for education professionals to keep school communities safe.

As part of the series, they will introduce EPIC – a free, digital self-assessment tool developed with and for education leaders, to help understand how well current practice aligns with the evidence on preventing children’s involvement in violence. Developed by the Youth Endowment Fund, the free tool allows you to reflect on current practice, receive tailored evidence-informed insights, benchmark anonymously against similar settings, and access resources to improve safety in your school community.
