Last month, The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) said it was aware of a number of sand products contaminated with asbestos and published a recall list alongside guidance on how to dispose of products.
Since then, new products have been added to the recall list. Detail of the recalled products can be found on the OPSS Product Safety Alerts, Reports and Recalls page here bit.ly/3Ra2E9H
The guidance, which can be read here bit.ly/4uPvefc includes information on how to dispose of recalled items safely.
The OPSS has advised that, if anyone has any further questions regarding specific products, to contact the retailer you purchased from.
