As a reminder for the session scheduled for 4th November from 10:00 - 11:00 on ‘Promoting the Education of Children with a Social Worker’ – What does that mean for Schools?
In this session we will be exploring the detail of the guidance from the DfE in respect of the July 2021 publication on ‘Promoting the Education of Children with a Social Worker’ including:
- Defining the cohort and what that means for School reporting.
- How the Virtual School can support Schools to support the education of this cohort.
- Elaborate on the offer available from Virtual School in respect of support, training and collaboration with the Social Care team
- Looking at what this means practically through sharing detail of individual interventions that have already taken place.
- At the end of the session there will be an opportunity to ask questions and look at the development of further tailored or targeted support specifically for DSLs in their role supporting this cohort.
