This article is to inform you that the Home to School Travel policy was revised last year and therefore requires all students to re-apply for School Travel assistance for the 2024-2025 Academic year, under both Mainstream and SEND criteria.
Please could we request that you advise any of the pupils that you work with over the coming weeks to complete a new transport application form which can be located on the Citizen portal. You should note that there is no automatic rollover for travel assistance for September 2024 and we are also no longer accepting paper copies.
Therefore, any applications we do receive will not be considered unless it is under exceptional circumstances, and the applicant will be advised to apply via the online portal.
Any of the existing pupils using travel assistance via Slough Borough Council will be written to over the coming days to advise them of the above.
