South East Region Self Harm, Suicide Prevention 26th February - PLEASE REGISTER ASAP

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Public Health Programme Officer, Timothy Howells, on behalf of NHS England South (South East)'s Quality Improvement Lead for Mental Health, Carolyn Hilton.  This is for the attention of all educational establishments in Slough.

Please find below the details of a Suicide Prevention Conference happening on the 26th February.  I would encourage you to attend the event, or signpost any staff that would have a vested interest in this area.

The South East Regional Self Harm, Suicide Prevention Conference is now available for booking.  Places are limited so you are advised to sign up promptly. Please can we ask for your help in forwarding  to your contacts in the suggested audience, as described below:

  • STP MH Leads/others in STP with MH roles
  • LA mental health/suicide prevention/CYP leads
  • Academics
  • Acute Trusts
  • CCG suicide prevention leads, quality leads, adult/CYP MH Commissioners
  • Those with personal experience
  • CVS

Each person attending will have to book individually as the system doesn’t allow for one person to make multiple bookings.   You will also be asked to sign up to the NHS England event booking website, but hopefully it is all self explanatory.  A link to the agenda can be found near the bottom under downloads.
