Two Flexible Freelance Roles Supporting Neuro-divergent Inclusion
We’re currently recruiting for two freelance roles as part of our work to improve support for neuro-divergent people and families — and we’d really appreciate your help sharing them with your networks.
These roles are ideal for people with lived experience, strong organisational or facilitation skills, and a passion for inclusive change in schools and services.
1. Neurodiversity Voice Network – Project Coordinator
1 day/week | £25/hour | Freelance | July 2025 – April 2026
You’ll take a lead role in supporting the Neurodiversity Voice Network — helping to connect community organisations, families, and local services. You’ll coordinate communications, track engagement activity, and support the inclusion of lived experience in shaping local support and strategy.
This role is part of a collaborative project supporting local neurodiversity transformation work across the health and community sector.
Apply by: Monday 30 June
Interviews: Wednesday 3 July (in Marlow)
2. Parent Carer Consultant – Slough Primary Schools
£500 per school | Approx. 15 hours | Freelance | Sept 2025 –March 2026
We’re looking for a parent or carer of a neurodivergent young person to lead family engagement in Slough primary schools, helping schools listen more deeply and take practical steps to improve inclusion.

These aren’t your typical step-by-step roles — they’re flexible, relational, and shaped by lived experience.
If you’re not sure whether they’re right for you or just want to talk them through, we’re more than happy to have an informal chat. Just drop us an email Hello@brighterfuturestogether.org.uk .
We’re also committed to a neuro-inclusive application process – if you’d like to apply in a different format or need adjustments, just let us know.
Please do share this with anyone you think might be a great fit — or feel free to pass it on to relevant networks or parent/carer groups.
