SEND Partnership Board Meeting

The purpose of this meeting is to ensure Slough Borough Council and Partners are effectively positioned to accelerate the SEND reforms of 2014 (Children and Families Act 2014, SEND Code of Practice 2015). This meeting also ensures that any commissioning proposals are submitted to the Joint Commissioning Group and monitors the OFSTED outcomes of SEND settings.

To identify children's special educational needs at an early stage where support is put in place without delay.

This meeting is chaired by the Director of Children's, Learning and Skills, Cate Duffy and includes LA representatives, Slough's Children's Trust, Healthcare representatives, PVI's and local community representatives.
