This information is brought to you by Slough Borough Council, for the attention of all.
Please see below and attached for information and resources about the upcoming Alcohol Awareness Week for your information / to help those you may be working with.
Turning Point - Slough Treatment, Advice and Recovery Team (START) is a free, confidential service for adults and young people who are struggling with drugs or alcohol and their friends and families.
Everyone's relationship with alcohol is different. Taking time to consider our drinking habits can help us make informed choices and positive changes that work for us. Even small reductions in alcohol consumption can improve physical health, mental wellbeing, relationships, and productivity.
The week also aims to encourage open conversations, reduce stigma and help people feel confident seeking support when needed. A particular focus this year is reaching diverse communities and overcoming cultural and language barriers to ensure support is accessible to everyone.
The following organisations will be available in the Observatory House Foyer on:
๐
Wednesday 8 July 2026
๐11:00am โ 2:00pm
Please feel free to drop by and speak with the teams.
