GEMS is please to share with your the information below regarding Caudwell Youth, please direct any queries to Caudwell Youth directly. Caudwell Youth supports young people at-risk aged 11 to 24 through person-centred volunteer mentoring for up to two years.

Impacts: 

  • Increased confidence and sense of self-worth 
  • Improved well-being, relationships, social skills and communication
  • Improved life skills such as financial management, cooking and hygiene 
  • Increased meaningful use of time 
  • Increased resilience

Needs

They support young people with a wide range of needs, primarily in the categories of mental health, care experience, offending behaviour and exploitation. All our young people are experiencing at least one of these, however most experience multiple needs which compound the level of risk they face.
