This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Health and Safety Adviser, Michael Hancock, for the attention of all schools.
Due to the current circumstances in the Slough area the EVC Training course is being postponed until the 2nd December.
The course is split into two parts:
- E-Learning module that needs to be completed before the actual zoom training, which takes approximately 3 hours. The links will be emailed to you in advance of the training.
- Online Zoom session on Wednesday 2nd December between 9:30am – 11:30am.
The course looks at the planning, risk management, competence, supervision, guidance, best practice, legal Issues and the use of EVOLVE ( the online system for managing trips.)
The course only costs £50.00 per delegate and each delegate will receive a certificate of attendance.
The course is being provided by an external trainer, Jake Wiid, Education Visits Advisor from EVOLVE.
We encourage all new and existing E.V.C.’s to apply for the course.
