Free Webinar | Supporting Pupils and Staff During Industrial Action

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council on behalf of The National College, for the attention of All Schools.

On 16 January 2023, the DfE published guidance on handling strike action in schools. The document provides advice on what schools should do when staff go on strike, including DfE expectations, legislative and contractual requirements and best practice around managing different issues or concerns.

In response, The National College is delivering the following free webinar to provide you with an expert review of guidance on schools’ responsibilities during strike days, including how to remain open, and explains the law on trade disputes and picketing.

You can also find a selection of webinars available to purchase below from our leadership & governance category, providing you with everything you need to stay on top of the latest changes in education, meet DfE and Ofsted expectations and deliver robust and effective leadership and governance.
