Free School Meals
Slough Borough Council are pleased to inform all schools that we continue to be able to use the above scheme to ensure all eligible FSM children in the LA receive food vouchers for the Christmas Holidays. This is made possible via funding from the Government and given to local authorities to distribute in collaboration with partners. Each pupil will be eligible for £30 in total (£15 for each week).
This time schools will need to purchase the vouchers themselves and then send an invoice, together with the list of pupils eligible for Free School Meals and receipt of payment to Iram Mughal at Iram.firstname.lastname@example.org. Please send to Iram Mughal no later than 6 January 2023.
The Slough LA will continue to use the HUGGG platform to purchase vouchers for all eligible children. Please see attached form to be completed and return to Iram.Mughal@slough.gov.uk no later than Friday 9th December 2022. It can be signed by Headteachers or any relevant officer. Each pupil will be eligible for £30 in total (£15 for each week).
Once received, funds will be transferred on the HUGGG System. If the nominated school contact needs to be set up onto the platform, they will receive a link to join Slough’s HUGGG account. Funds will be transferred to you once the school has joined.
If you do not wish to use this platform and have your own alternative, then you may invoice us as you have done previously. Please ensure all invoices are sent to Iram.Mughal@slough.gov.uk together with a list of children who are eligible and a copy of your receipts by Friday the 6th January 2023.
