I am happy to inform you that the council will be renewing the subscription to ‘the Key’ for all schools in the next academic year in the following way:
- The key for School Leaders up to March 2019
- The Key for Governors up to August 2019
We are exploring ways the council can create an ‘opt-in’ subscription to ‘the Key’ for all schools so that we can charge schools at a cheaper rate for buying the service through the council than if buying it direct.
Usage analysis shows us Slough schools combined usage for the following:
- The Key for School Leaders – 13,647 views
- The Key for Governors – 1,728 views
In some schools the Key for Governors has not been accessed at all. I would urge that governors are encouraged to use this tool in order to maximise its effectiveness and this is something that we hope to support you with through the appointment of a Governor Support Officer in the near future.
I am very pleased the council is in a position to support schools again with this important tool.
