MART: Risk Assessment Tool For Transitions 16-18 Year Old Young People

This article has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Education Safeguarding Professional, Jatinder Matharu, for the attention of All Schools.

A multi-agency solution to monitor, engage and support young people at risk of/or involved in exploitation with no care and support needs as they transition into adulthood. Please see below the Slough Safeguarding Partnership transitions protocol for young people aged 16-18, and the Multi Agency Risk Framework for people aged 18+.

The aim of the meeting is to ensure there is a clearer understanding amongst professionals around the vulnerabilities that are faced by young people approaching adulthood who are at risk of/involved in exploitation, post 16 years of age and remove misconceptions that young people have the capacity and resources to keep themselves safe from harm. See the documents attached for further details.

There are still places available on the next MART training which is on 2nd February 2023. Register here:  https://www.sloughsafeguardingpartnership.org.uk/events/event/practice-development-multi-agency-risk-framework-and-tool-for-adults-and-transition
